Junior Engineer (Trainee) (Electrical)	173	(i) Candidtaes must produce a certificate from the head of the institution from which he passed out or from a gazzated officer in Uttar Pradesh that can read and write Hindi in Devnagri script with ease, provided that such a certificate will not be necessary in the case of the candidate who passed the High School or an equivalent examination with Hindi or who has obtained a degree, diploma or Certificate of any Hindi examination from an institution recognized by the state government. (ii) A candidate must have passed:- (a) Three years Diploma examination in Electrical Engineering awarded by the Pravidhik Shiksha Parishad Uttar Pradesh or Diploma, equivalent thereto, recognized by the State Government. (b) Three years All India Diploma Examination in Electrical Engineering conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education. (c) Diploma Examination in Electrical Engineering conducted by any Universities in India incorporated by the Act of the Central/ State Legislature.	Rs. 44900 + DA and other allowances
