Exam Pattern: Arunachal Pradesh Police Sub Inspector Exam Pattern will consist of two types of tests., physical efficiency test and written examination.
Physical Efficiency Test: The candidate who meets minimum physical standards as mentioned in the notification will be called for physical efficiency test. The physical efficiency test will consists of the following events.

6 Chin Up 6 times NA
Note: The physical efficiency test will be of qualifying in nature.
Written Examination: The eligible candidates of physical efficiency test will be put through written test in one paper which will have three sections covering General English, General Knowledge and Elementary Mathematics of 100 marks each.
For Civil Police/ IRBn:

B (General Knowledge) 100 marks
C (Elementary Mathematics) 100 marks
Total for Written Paper 300 marks
B. For Telecommunication/WT:
Sections Marks
A (General English) 100 marks
B (General Knowledge) 100 marks
C (Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry) 100 marks
Total for Written Paper 300 marks
Note:
- The written examination willbe of multiple choice objective types on OMR format.
- The minimum aggregate marks in written examination will be 45% in aggregate.
