JPSC Civil Services Exam Pattern:
Jharkhand Public Service Commission’s (JPSC) Civil Services Combined Competitive Exam Pattern details are mentioned below…
1. Scheme of Examination: The Combined Competitive Examination will be held in three successive stages-
I. Preliminary Examination (Multiple Choice Objective Type)
II. Main Examination (Written & Interview)
III. Personality Test
1. Preliminary Examination:– Preliminary examination will consists of two papers with Multiple Choice Objective Type Questions, Duration 2-2 hours for each paper, Paper-I (General Studies), Paper-II (General Studies) each paper carries 100 marks.
Note: Preliminary Competitive Exam will consists of Multiple Choice & Objective Type questions. The question paper will be in Devanagari and Roman script.
II. Main Examination:- The candidates who qualify in preliminary examination, can attend for Main Examination. There are three subjects, i.e General Hindi carries 100 marks, General Studies Question Paper -1 carries 200 marks and General Studies Question Paper -2 carries 200 marks. The scheme of main examination is as follows-

Note: General Hindi marks will not be added to Written Test & Personality test but those who did not get 30% marks in General Hindi are not eligible for Written Examination.
III. Personality Test: Those who qualified in Main Examination will be called for Personality Test of 200 marks.
