Eligibility Conditions:
I. Age Limit: Candidates’ age limit should be between 18 to 22 years.
(i).Age Relaxation:
(a) Relaxable for Government servants up to 5 years.
(b) Relaxable up to a period of 5 years to Home Guards who have put in a minimum of 3 years of service.
(c) Relaxation for Ex-Serviceman in accordance with the orders or instructions issued by the Government from time to time.
II. Educational Qualification: Secondary School Certificate Examination or equivalent qualification.
III. Physical Measurements:
i. For Male Candidates:
Minimum height of 168 cms.
Chest: – Unexpanded – 80 cms and expanded – 85 cms.
ii. For Female Candidates:
Minimum height of 160 cms.
Weight not less than 45 kgs.
iii. For Ex-Servicemen between 30 to 40 years (Male Candidates):
Minimum height of 167 cms.
Chest: – Unexpanded – 80 cms and expanded – minimum 85 cms.
iv. For Ex-Servicemen between 30 to 40 years (Female Candidates):
Minimum height of 160 cms.
Weight not less than 45 kgs.
v. For Ex-Servicemen above 40 years (Male Candidates):
Minimum height of 167 cms.
Chest: Unexpanded – 80 cms and expanded – minimum 85 cms.
vi. For Ex-Servicemen above 40 years (Female Candidates):
Minimum height of 160 cms.
Weight not less than 45 kgs.
IV. Eligibility for Sportsperson:
- Persons who have represented State or the Country in the National or International competition in any of the Games/Sports listed below.
- Persons who have represented their University in the Inter-University Tournaments conducted by the Inter-University Sports Board in any of these Games.
- Persons who have represented the State School Teams in the National Sports/Games conducted by the All India School Games Federation in any of these Games/Sports.
- Persons who have been awarded National Awards in Physical Efficiency under National Physical Efficiency Drive.
